Why I Love Reading Manga, Manhua and Manhwa
Ever since I started reading manga, manhua and manhwa, my life's change. It's my outlet whenever I feel overwhelmed. I remember my first manga that I read and it is Fairytail. I first saw it as an anime and I was hook immediately.
What started as a curiosity became a lifelong love affair with inky panels, epic fight scenes, and stories that made me laugh, cry, and stay up way past my bedtime.
There's something uniquely captivating about getting lost in the pages of a manga, manhua, or manhwa. These stories pull me into their worlds with a perfect blend or visual artistry and depth narrative. Each panel carrying emotion, tension, or beauty in a way that feels almost alive.
Maybe it's the expressiveness of the characters, where a single glance or dramatic pause speaks louder than paragraphs of descriptions. It could also because of the freedom of storytelling, where genres bend and blend effortlessly.
But beyond the art and plot, what truly keeps me coming back is the emotional resonance. These stories don't just entertain, they linger. They make me cheers for underdogs, question morality, and even see pieces of myself in flawed, growing characters. Whether it's the quiet melancholy of coming-age-ceremony manga, or the adrenaline of a battle manhwa, or the intricate lore of a cultivation manhua, each one offers a different kind of escape. One that feels personal, no matter how fantastical the setting.
In the end, reading them isn't just a hobby. It's a way to experience new perspective, cultures, and emotions. All through the power of ink, color, and imagination. And that's why, I'll never stop turning the page.
