      When I first heard about The Prisoner of Beauty, I was immediately excited because I've been following both Song Zu'er and Liu Yuning for a while, and the thought of them together in a historical romance had me counting down to premier. When it finally aired on May 13, 2025, on Tencent Video, it did not dissappoint.     The story follows Xiao Qiao, played by Song Zu'er, a noblewoman from the Qiao family who enters into an arranged marriage with Wei shao, portrayed by  Liu Yuning, in the midst of a dynasty filled with political intrigue, power struggles, and betrayal. What gripped me from the start was how their relationship wasn't a typical fairytale romance; intstead, it was layered with mistrust, conflicting loyalties, and the constant tension between love and duty.     Song Zu'er brought such intelligence and quiet strength to Xiao Qiao, while Liu Yuning gave Wei Shao a commanding presence mixed with vulnerability that made him impossible...

   First Frost (2025)     I recently binged watched First Frost and it completely won me over!          The drama follows Wen Yifan, a determined reporter, who bumps into her high school sweetheart, the now-reserved bar owner Sang Yan, in a most unexpected way. Their initial awkwardness felt so relatable. But when fate forces them to become housemates, the real magic begins.     What I loved the most was the slow-burn tension of those stolen glances, the bickering that slowly turned into caring, and the way their past subtly resurfaced. The writing balanced humor and emotion perfectly, especially in scenes like Sang Yan  secretly fixing her coffee just the way she liked it. And can we talked about the nostalgia? Being A CDrama Fan

       Being a CDrama fan means living in a constant chaos. One moment I'm swooning over a lingering glance between leads, the next I'm yelling at the screen because of some ridiculous misunderstanding that could be solved with a single conversation. It's about memorizing the emotional OST that plays during the scene, developing strong opinions about historical hairstyles, and having your heart broken repeatedly by tragic love stories set in magical realms.     I  find myself randomly quoting dramatic lines in daily life and defending my favorite slow-burn romance to anyone who'll listen. Whether it's the intricate embroidery on a hanfu or the way an actor conveys years of longing with just their eyes, Cdramas have this magical over-the-top plots feel deeply personal. And when I meet another fan, it's an instant bond. Because only they understand why I'm still not over that one drama months ago.

Why I Love Reading Manga, Manhua and Manhwa

       Ever since I started reading manga, manhua and manhwa, my life's change. It's my outlet whenever I feel overwhelmed. I remember my first manga that I read and it is Fairytail. I first saw it as an anime and I was hook immediately.       What started as a curiosity became a lifelong love affair with inky panels, epic fight scenes, and stories that made me laugh, cry, and stay up way past my bedtime.       There's something uniquely captivating about getting lost in the pages of a manga, manhua, or manhwa. These stories pull me into their worlds with a perfect blend or visual artistry and depth narrative.
